This ad allows you gather contact information from potential customers without needing any custom landing pages or pixels. What is a Facebook Lead Form Ad?
When someone clicks on your ad, a form automatically opens with the person’s contact information automatically populated, based on the information they share with Facebook. Automatically populating the contact information that people share with Facebook makes filling in the form as fast as two taps: one click on the ad to open the form and another to submit the autofilled form.
Step 1:
Creating a Facebook Lead Ad is easy! All you’ll need is a few sentences of text and a great image to get started.
Go to your Facebook Ads Manager and click “create an ad.” Facebook will ask you to pick an objective and you’ll want to select: Collect leads for your business. From there you will set your targeting and build out your ad.
Step 2:
Once you select the objective for your ad, it is time to set the targeting. You’ll want to include a few different types of targeting:
1. Geographic- Zip codes, city names and states
2. Demographic- Age, gender and parental status
3. Interests- High household income and age of children
4. Connections- Friend of your current fans

The final two steps to creating your ad are to select your creative and build your form.
Selecting Creative- You’ll want to pick out a great photo with happy and smiling campers to use as your creative for the ad. As your ad text, you’ll want to follow the following formula: question, benefit statement, call to action.
Refining the Form- When building out the form you’ll want to keep the form as short as you can. Try only asking for name, email and phone to increase the likelihood of participants finishing your form.
